E46 Bsw radio upgrade

Hey all. Looking at finding the best way to integrate my iPhone 4 into my 2001 BMW 325i sedan. I want all parts to be factory or oem. Found this one on bsw's site. How does this compare to their dice mediabridge? Other that price... All I want is to simply plug my iPhone in. Do not NEED Bluetooth. What are suggestions?

wont the aux install work on this?, or is 01 too early

Don't know. The site says it is aux ready. What will I need and how do I acquire.

Are you referring to the BMW aux install that you can buy from dealer. If yes, than yes 05 is earliest

The Bsw site says that it has the ability to add iPod/iPhone integration and ability to use BMW aux input - sold at BMW dealer. But dealer only sells for 05 or newer. Not 01.

Ok. What was needed that wasn't in box. Just aux cable to route to glovebox or other area? So do you need to buy the aux input from BMW dealer?

because its an upgraded radio, not an 01,basically you could get a head unit out of a newer car from a junk yard i'd bet

That looks great! So, I just saw pictures, would that still fit. Does it offer Aux input or Bluetooth?

yes it does have Bluetooth and aux input. i am getting mine tomorrow and will be installing it tomorrow also. I'll be able to give you more details in few days.
