newbie in new jersey

hi all. my name is paul and i'm from toms river, nj. i'm a new member and relatively new bmw owner. i bought an 02 325i back in november and haven't done anything to it other than installing an aftermarket stereo. i'm somewhat mechanically inclined, but limited in my car knowledge and experience. i am interested in changing some things on the car, but haven't really gotten around to it. and by that, i really mean i would like to do some mods but i lack the confidence to do it myself lol

car stuff is normally something i would ask my dad for help with, but unfortunately he passed away unexpectedly in october, so i'm on my own for the most part when it comes to working on it. but i figure it's a good start to come here and see if anyone is in the area

anyway... that's about it for now.
