13's 1/4 mile

Just curious, What do you guys think it will take to get a manual M54B30 into the high 13's quarter mile times?

Ya, im thinking its a fun goal. I've already got about 100lbs out of the car and full bolt on's. so, All I need is to find is some gears and another 150lb out of the car and that should do it. I'm very curious what i can do in a straight line..

i would also put the 3.46 into my car but that would mean im gunna have to sacrifice my high speed, so i guess i will be tapping out at probably 125mph if i do put the 3.46 diff.. smh thats no bueno, i love hitting 140 in my car, its a really good feeling and i dont think im ready to loose that just yet for a good 1/4 mile time.. right now with my mods im guessing i can hit mid 14's mainly cause of my driving, i know my reaction time doesnt really count towards the 1/4 mile time but it will be really good and i know how to launch my car really good ive had the car for over a year now and i practiced everything possible on my car on the STOCK clutch. and shifting fast and hard doesnt get you better track times, chirping your tires in between gears slows you down, thats why there is a clutch so u can ride it out just a tad bit enough so your car wont jerk or chirp in between shifting, and that'll allow more torque to going to the ground, you will feel a nice pull if you pull it of correctly, ive beatin plenty of smg 330i's by doing this, to me i think its flawless shifting cause i dont jerk the car not one bit not even while im launching at 3k rpm, and always have the traction completely of cause you dont want the car locking up anything to prevent you from flooring it or even moving. just my $.2cents

No idea, but I often see him posting retarded posts about stuff he has no idea about.

I'll be going to the quarter mile track soon.

I'll post my results.

Further adding to this, who do you think has the top 5 fastest non m's?

1. Obviously PEI330 takes the cake with the number 1 spot
2. Aggie next?

these assumptions are all off of posts i've read...so who do you think is top five?

Anyone who is boosted.

Now take the boost out, and the range is wider.

Then take out the coupes, sedans, touring, and you got:

1. Gheybe
2. ???

Obviously am kidding.

Now that wouldn't be quite fair. I should have specified NA...However if you want you could compile a duel list. My next performance mod is either cams to finish it off or an AA stage 2 charger. Im gonna have to think it through which route I want to go
