I apologize for dumbing down info that everyone here probably knows already. I copy+pasta'd my ad from Criagslist. In case you didn't notice it (and since I didn't mention it in my ad) I'd like $8,500 OBO for my car. Thanks.
Up for sale is a 2001 BMW 330Xi. For those who don't know, that would make this a 3.0L Inline 6 all wheel drive BMW. It has a tiptronic automatic transmission, which means that it does have a sport mode, and you can change "gears" manually. It has the premium package, the cold weather package, and the sports package.

Premium package: Leather (beige), 2 way glass moonroof, Myrtle wood trim, automatic-dimming inside rear-view mirror, xenon auto leveling headlamps, Harmon Kardon premium sound system, and rain sensing wipers

Cold weather Package: headlamp washers, heated front seats, and skii pass through system (with fold down rear seats)

Sports Package: Sports suspension, 8 way power sports seats (with memory function and high bolsters to keep your butt in place), Sports steering, MTECH II body kit, and sports steering wheel

It has ~136,000 miles on it, and has the usual wear and tear of a car with that high of mileage. This car has a few aftermarket parts on it, which include: Eagle Eye LED taillights (turn signals are smoked), DEPO smoked turn signals, Bilstein HD shocks, Powerflex control arm bushings (this addresses a huge problem with this generation of BMWs), aftermarket remote start, and I can include a set of black aftermarket grills if the buyer insists on it.

As far as recent work done: recently had the driver's side CV joint replaced, and the passenger's side CV boot was replaced. The control arms were also replaced, as well as the bushings (with the aforementioned powerflex bushings), the strut hats have been replaced with heavy duty ones, shocks and struts have been replaced with Bilstein heavy duty ones, and the water pump has recently been replaced. I did an oil change myself and used Mobil 1 0w-40 oil as well as a mahnn filter (BMW OEM) about a month or so ago, so oil's still fresh.

The bad:
-has 136,000 miles
-few dents and dings around the car (see third picture)
-has pine cone residue on the hood that I can't seem to get it out
-the only key that i have works, but the buttons do not.
-interior is a little dirty, can use a nice cleaning
-rear brake pads could probably use replacement soon
-LED tail lights can use resistors (or complete replacement, since the prices for them have dropped to $150 shipped for a pair)

The good:
-replaced a lot of failure prone parts with proven parts that will last
-still running strong
-the only mods on there are tasteful, nothing ricey
-has automatic climate control
-despite all of the dents/dings, still a lovely car (I still get compliments and catch myself staring at the car every now and then)
-very roomy on the inside, despite the compact shape
-steering is solid on this car
-All Wheel Drive-winters are safer
-Despite being a Sedan, it does still feel very sporty and will be more than enough to get the job done in style
-Swapped the original cassette player for a newer BMW CD player (which means that it has 7 slots for CDs, 1 in the front, 6 in the rear, though I never hooked up the radio antenna. I don't care for most of the music on the radio anyhow :p)

Reason I'm selling: Well, I've always wanted a manual transmission car. I'm going to take this opportunity to sell my car, save up a little more, and buy a M3.

Now, for what you're looking for...pictures. First pic is of the front, no my car doesn't have a Hitler 'stache, I edited out my license plate:

Next pic is of the rear to show the tail lights, they blink occasionally, and I haven't personally found the need to replace them.

Last is the pic of the WORST damage on the car, it is located on the driver's side rear quarter panel:

Final words: Honestly speaking, if you're wanting a show car that you can leave in the garage, I highly suggest that you look elsewhere. If you're looking for a car to punish, I apologize for wasting your time, but this car isn't for you. HOWEVER, if you're looking for a car that will get you to and from work in style, at fantastic speeds, and take care of you in the twisties as well as bad weather, this car IS for you. I have put a lot of blood and sweat into this car, as well as a lot more money than I'm asking for, so I'm not going to sell it in a rush. I can however tell you that if you go full throttle in this car, it is very exciting, almost as exciting as tackling turns at ridiculous speeds.

After I changed my brake pads, I noticed that the driver's side rear spring has snapped. So for now, this car is off the market until I can get this fixed. I'm debating between an OEM set (too costly) or a Tein H set (not much of a drop, but have to see if it's compatible with the Bilstein HD shocks). Stand by.

If anyone has any insight on a GOOD aftermarket spring set that doesn't have a drop (or is compatible with the Bilstein HD shocks) please DO chime in.
