100k miles isn't really that much. I just put brand new shocks on my truck and it drives better now with 140k miles than it did when it was new. Obviously you have to understand that things will age and need replaced. But as long as you know what will need replaced with age, 100k miles shouldn't mean anything. There's no reason a BMW shouldnt last you at least 250k miles with proper care. With higher milage comes more responsibility, but not necessarily an unreliable car.
In the end don't let a higher milage car scare you away. With your budget you're going to have to deal with it. Just figure out what will have needed replaced and find the right car that's been taken care of Sent from my iPhone using BimmerApp

^^What model audi?
For a first car you probably don't want a high miles M car unless you are really good with a wrench. Just get something you can enjoy, cruise in and hopefully pick up some good driving habits then focus on getting a better car such as an M, etc.
