I could not get rid of the noise while using text scrolling. Besides the blips during scroll, there are pops when you change from one input to another. Very unprofessional. But the worse offense for me was noticing how horrible the preamp is in the dice unit. All my high quality 256bit rate songs sounded terrible compared to my BMW AUX input.
Therefore, I returned my dice unit and bought a spec dock that charges the ipod and uses my BMW AUX input for audio input. It is not ideal as the iPod doesn't pause when you switch car off or switch to Radio.I have to reach to the iPhone and hit stop. But to me sound quality is far more important so this is my only solution I have found.

Old but useful thread on the "chirp" sound while scrolling. Worth a revisit since I still need to manage this on my install today.
I've just installed the Mediabridge and managed to minimize the volume of the chirps to about zero.
I suggest
1) reset the default volume level to 10 using Preset3 button. The shipped unit is set at about 25.
2) It helped to reset my iPhone 6 by turning it off.
3) It also helped to disconnect my battery
I found that podcasts tags created more of the chirping noise while scrolling than albums I purchased on iTunes. So higher bitrates reduce the chirping.
I am using a Feb 2015 firmware upgrade. It's possible to download and run Audiovox's upgrade program while the Mediabridge is connected to - in my case - my iMac with a USB cable with a mini and normal end.
The Bluetooth also has chirps since newer firmware has scrolling text for BT.

I know it's been a while since you posted this .... question though:

I see this harness shortening the length between the Dice/Audiovox device and the radio for the audio data cable, but where are you getting power from to feed the Dice/Audiovox? Does that still use the power coming off the wiring harness from the CDC?
