Resonator delete ..should I or shouldn't I?

Have a 2003 330xi and thinking about doing a resonator delete and I'm just wondering what happens to the o2 sensors if I do.

Also open to any other suggestions as to how to make the car sound louder/better without dumping a bunch of cash for a whole new exhaust system.

Cheapest is get a CD of an F1 race and just blast it when you're driving. The ladies will be impressed and if I know the ladies you'll be getting in your car, they won't notice that it's coming from the speakers.

Oh, also, get the CD soundtrack from Debbie Does Dallas. After the F1 CD, put that on. When she hears it, tell her that you know it wasn't so nice, but you recorded having sex with her. She'll say something like, "we had sex?"

domminicg (i think) and many others have threads about this. Do a search. Removing the resonator will not make a drastic difference.

I thought you asked about how to change the sound of your car. Sorry. I try to help in so many threads, sometimes I'll respond in one thread when it should have been in another.

Okay, just reread it...I'm confused now. You did want to change the sound of your car. If that's not what you wanted to do, you shouldn't have started a thread about it.

You're wasting your time. You have what could be a perfectly good BMW and you want to change its sound. I shouldn't have risen to the bait. My fault!

In five days, I'll be back to normal...just you wait! Oh, also, if you push the pedal on the right until it gets to 4K+ I think you'll hear the sound a BMW is supposed to make better...that and turn off the radio.

Tons of useful suggestions...more than you know quite obviously. I don't waste my time doing silly stuff with my car and that was my point...sorry I didn't make it clearer.
