Whats this sound?

Hi all,

It seems I get this kind of grind/rattle sort of noise when I start my car in the morning for the first time, kinda goes away after a while, you cant hear it to well over the videos but its there, any idea what it could be?

I'm not hearing anything, but just from your description, I'd suggest it'd be worth it to remove belts and spin pulleys...including WP.

Of course, the winners are usually idler and tensioner pulleys on ACC belt...but while there, if those are spinning freely (i.e., are bad), then might as well replace AC belt tensioner pulley too.

If WP...get to that too and if you haven't done any cooling stuff, I'd recommend going broad as you can afford, up to an entire cooling overhaul. At 150K miles, probably a good idea to do radiator too.

Of course, belts if they're more than a couple of years old.

Finally, 5'garden hose as stethoscope and try isolating your sound when running...careful of moving things!
