Bummer! If there is a silver lining at least it was your front fender and not a rear quarter.

That's infuriating. I can't believe people do **** like that and then run away. Actually, I can believe, but I find it disgusting.

how do you know it was a bastard?, maybe it was a b*t*h. Sux but it could have been much worse, fairly easy to replace bolt on parts, rear quarter panel not so easy.

Yes, It could have been worse. I have a spinal condition, and if I was in the car it could have been bad for me as well.

Sorry to see that, pal.

If someone did that to me, and I somehow caught them, I would literally rip their throat out.

I'm sure there's damage to the front bumper. If you can get the ins company to replace it then you can upgrade to an MTechII or M3 style bumper.

Yeah, such vermin has no right to live. A slow & painful death sounds appropriate.

Body shop says the front bumper is fine. Besides I'm trying to keep the cost down.

Why? Are you not going through insurance? If you have uninsured motorist coverage so anything over your $250 or $500 deductible is gravy and this is definitely more than the deductible. I would have kicked the **** out of the bumper as soon as I saw the damage.

Yes I am going through insurance. I like the car the way it is (minus the damage, of course).

Thumbs Up

My Way Auto Body of Stamford did an outstanding job! I took longer than planned (some parts were back ordered). The panels are gapped perfectly, and the blending of old/new paint could not have been done better. All my custom work was redone perfectly.

I would recommend this shop to everyone, especially to those with the highest standards.
