Need help with power to secondary air pump
I'm following this diy http://www.bavauto.com/newsletter/2008_n408_newsletter.pdf#page=6 (page 6 and 7)
to fix some error codes(p0491, p0492, p0444) I removed the SAP because it wasn't blowing air during cold start. I test the pump with a 12 volt supply, works fine. So I test the harness that plugs to the SAP(I waited for engine to fully cool... Twice) with my volt meter, no power. So I checked all 5 of the fuses under the hood, they look fine. Then I check the fuse in the glove box, #36 in my car, looks fine. The article suggests checking the main relay, but I don't know how to get to it, what it looks like or how to see if it has gone bad. Also is there any other reason why that harness is not getting power. The car is a 2002 325ci. All advice welcome and appreciated. |

Nevermind. Followed RL 00' 328i's advice and just plugged it back in and now it works again
