New member. South Florida 330i.

Hey guys, new to the forum I drive a 2001 330i (four door). It has an intake and borla full exhaust. I just picked up some black e46 m3 rims which I've heard aren't an easy fit. Any feedback would be appreciated. I should have some pictures up very soon. Thanks, Nick

Welcome to the forum!

If you do a search there are plenty of pictures and stories about using E46 M3 wheels. Most people just avoid them, many people get replicas in the correct fitment, some run four front wheels, and some have even made them fit non-Ms with a lot of fender rolling and dealing with rubbing over big bumps.

Hey Nick,

I'm new to the forum as well and looking for a 330i. How's that Borla exhaust sound? Any videos?
Just trying to feel out exhausts I've pretty much got it narrowed down to either the Borla or a UUC tse3

Also what color is your car you're trying to put those black rims on?

The Borla exhaust sounds great. It's exactly what I was looking for. A nice deep tone that isn't too loud unless you get on the throttle. Also my car is black. Here are some pics.

I actually just put on the e46 m3 wheels on my 323i. Was running stocks for a while, but after some adjusting, I got them back on, i put spring spacers to rise the rear of the car and stiffen up the springs. Currently they only rub on big bumps and sharp driveways, thinking of stretching the tires eventually for no rubbing.

Nice. I'm planning on running 245's in the rear or maybe even 235's. Are you lowered?

Did you space the wheels? and how thick are the tires? 40's, 45's?

you mean the aspect ratio. I run 225/40 ZR18 for my front tires and 255/35 ZR18 for my rear. Im stock on sport suspension. I have the Michelin pilot sport summer tires, awesome tires, somewhat pricey but nothing great is cheap.
