Listen to this crap......

http://abclocal.go.com/wabc/story?se...sey&id=8237508

Funny, Newark NJ fires 150+ cops, and now basically wants business owners to police themselves, and pay for their own ARMED security....

At least these tards are recognizing the fact that guns in the hands of GOOD guys is a GOOD thing....

It's Jersey, what do you expect?

Pretty much the #1 state in the country that goes against your rights and disallows it citizens to carry/own firearms to protect themselves.

Yet, they refuse/can't/won't do it themselves. How can they force local, private businesses to hire guards?
Here's an idea/// Let the people armed themselves

Not really sure why anyone would want to live in NJ.

I'm sure there's a biohazardous waste dumping facility that draws them in.

It's the northern part of jersey (aka, Newark) that gives a majority of the state a bad name. It's a beautiful place to live if one finds themselves in the right area (just make sure to stay on the coast).

Not quite. Its a law here, because the gobment thinks you are incapable of pumping your own, so they much rather you didn't.

How many laws does that violate whether it be actual laws, or simply just the fact of HOW THE FUVCK DO YOU EXPECT TO REQUIRE STORES TO HAVE ARMED SECURITY GUARDS. WHAT ARE THE POLICE THERE FOR THEN?!?!?!?

Here's how I would handle it if I were NJ. I would say:
"Look, we're laying off a bunch of cops and the crime rate is going to increase. Let's be realistic here- the crime rate will skyrocket. Understand that you will probably start getting robbed more. If you want to mitigate this issue, start carrying guns. We will be authorizing carry permits for all people who meet minimum qualifications. If you choose not to do so, we are not liable for you getting assaulted or robbed by a hoodrat or a fist-pumping guido. May the force be with you, and go easy on the hair gel and Affliction t-shirts."

Yes, however iirc they said they will REQUIRE store owners to have an armed guard, or be FORCED to close at 9.

I actually live in the second richest area of NJ, and life here is actually great...other than the ridiculous property taxes, and gun control laws. I actually lived in NYC, but the laws and prices there drove me out. The only reason why I am in NJ is that I work in NY, and have a good job. If I could (and I am trying) I would like to move out west, specifically Colorado. I wanted Utah but the wife is iffy on it due to the lack of "city."

So the government is telling you how to run your PRIVATE business....seems like it's being consistent with the rest of the way the country is going.

Look, a unicorn! Dare to dream my friend. The funniest part is, the cut cops are from one of the WORST areas of NJ. Listen, if crime gets bad enough, maybe these idiots will consider it.

Truth be told, if less cops are on the street, crime might go down.
Especially NJ cops
