Michelin MXM4's. Anybody running them?

Anybody running these? How do you like them?

I am looking for a tire that will primarily be used in the summer. I have a set of dedicated snows for winter. Looking for a quite and somewhat soft ride. I travel about 20,000 miles per year. A fairly long life is important, so at least 45,000 miles.

Love Michelin's products, best brand of tire throughout their range of models IMO. Had MXV4s, they were great, I'm sure the MXM4s will be just great too. Buy the Primacy's though as they have treadware rating of 500 as opposed to the Pilot's 300. Post a review after you've put 1000 on them.

Glad to hear that the MXV4s treated you well! I pulled the trigger on the deal about an hour ago.... They will be fitted tomorrow just in time for a 500 miles road trip on Saturday. Will report back in the next week or two.

Just rolled over about 800 miles on the new MXM4s. Wow! So far very impressed. The ride was incredibly softer and quieter. I kicked up the width just a little bit to 215 instead of the stnd 205 (on 16's). Keep in mind, i was running absolute junk before the change.... The PO put on GY BlueStreaks which were very old, extremely harsh and loud.

For about the first 200 miles I noticed a pretty good vibration coming form the front of the car.... this has since passed. I wonder if this is some sort of breaking in period? The car rides like a dream now and I would recommend the tires for anybody who is looking for a 55000+ tire.

I had the Primacy's, still have 2 of them with about 35k miles. still have 6/32nds left. I honestly have no complaints. they actually handled the shitty pittsburgh winter last year pretty well. I was just annoyed when i got a sidewall flat a few weeks ago. I couldnt find the same tire locally anywhere so i bough two new rears.

Great to hear. I should have specified, these are Michelin Primacy MXM4's.

It is amazing how much of a difference good tires make. Definitely worth the few extra $$$ for them
