Dexter: Season 6

Good episode, excellent call klubeck. Also interested to see how they develop the story line with the intern and how he has the ice truck killer hand.

My guess is the old man was Hank's teacher, he mentored him for a while and Hank's killed him. Because they said he's been missing 3 years, MPD looks for this old man and Dexter kills Hank's because they never find out about him because they look for the old man.

I feel like Masuka's intern will interfere with Dexter killing Travis. He has the ITK arm and he is a wiz about everything technological. He knows how far the WiFi signal is and probably has an idea of where to look if he is sneeky enough to follow Dexter. Remember when he suggested a search site for Dex? Maybe he is tracking Dexter's searches and following him that way.

As for Travis, good call klubeck! I wonder how that will play out. If Miami Metro will find Dexter's kill room, hes Fvcked. oh and Harry was right...

I dont think Dexter would ever kill Deb. In one of the first episodes of the series he makes a comment that if he could ever love anyone it would be Deb.

I'm interested to see how the sub plot with Chief Matthews and the dead hooker will play out. Maybe Dexter will wind up killing him to protect Deb

Dexter's life is parallel to that of Travis and Travis too loved his sister, but yet he still killed her subconsciously... Also judging from Deb's psychiatric meetings, it seems like they are starting to unravel the secrets of Dexter...

I mean, that theory is completely farfetched but with two seasons left, you can't really rule anything out.

Exactly, just like when Dex went to Nebraska and killed that motel manager, it seemed like it was a subconscious action.

As for the psyc meetings, how much does Deb really know? Maybe something with come up with a connection with her engagement to the ITK and Dexter being biological brothers.

Another thing, Dexter is sort of ignoring what Harry, his "light", is saying. He is now treating Harrison as his new light. Interesting stuff. I can't wait to see how this season will be wrapped up.

Thanks for the love guys was just a thought based on how they were having the character interact and all, really glad they have gone with the Dexter/Harry : Travis/Dr. Gellar parallels and all...thought it'd make for an interesting twist and reflection. As it could have been one of the last seasons, prior to the contract settlement, I thought it would be a good way for them to end it...Dexter realizing what he could become if he didn't stop. But since we have two more season, who knows

And Collin don't be jealous b/c I said it earlier than you haha jk though, you definitely had the thought on Travis killing him. I didn't even think of that being what it was but made sense.

I'm excited to see where they take the rest of the season. After last episode I feel they are gearing up for something big. It'll be interesting to find out why Travis killed Gellar....maybe his sister was one of the Gellars "Brunette's" and Travis got jealous so he killed him.

The whole story line w/ the ITK hopefully turns into something, the new intern being as weird as he is and idolizing Dexter...maybe he is a serial killer of his own...i'd love for them to bring back the hot intern as well, have the two of them be a team or something -- she was the one who sold it in the first place and seemed like they cut her out really quickly. She definitely knew what she was looking for when she stole it and it was convenient enough for nerdy intern to buy it and say he wasn't able to get it back.

can you guys answer a quick question. A friend and I are discussing the theory about Geller and Travis and he asked about the time the hooker said she heard two people. I know it wasn't worded that way and I can't remember exactly how she referenced it to make us think their were two people but how it really didn't mean that.

Heard, didn't see. She was blindfolded. He may have been talking to himself in two voices like Gollum in LOTR or Ed Norton/Brad Pitt in Fight Club.

I'm actually a little fuzzy on the details of the scene. She might have said there were 2 people there because he was talking to someone else. Not that she heard a second voice.

I think this is how they put it. She said that she believed there were two people there, b/c she heard "one" talking to the other....not that she heard an actual back and forth conversation between two people --- that's at least how I remember it, would have to go back and watch the episode. I think it was e06 or e07 where she is interviewed after the event.

Either way they definitely tried to hide it...the whole thing about Dr. Gellar interacting w/ objects almost threw me off at first, as it never seemed like Harry did this. However then they showed Harry playing w/ one of Harrison's trucks and the whole thing with Brian interacting with everything and appearing to kill the motel guy solidified it for me.

She never actually said that the "Professor" spoke, just that he jammed his knee into the back of her head. She was blindfolded. She stated that "the younger one" kept apologizing to her, and then speaking to his accomplice.

The way the scene played out, it could go either way. My thoughts are that Travis has been working alone since the early stages of this season, as opposed to killing Gellar later.

Also, god damn im waiting FVCKING patiently to see Dexter kill someone in a room again, fvck.

They have been very careful on Gellar/Travis. If you go back and watch you can see that they always protected the idea that Gellar was dead and was only a dark passenger. Look at the scene when Dexter and Travis are in the car at the campus waiting for gellar to come kill the Atheist professor. Travis sees him and Dexter looks up but it would be just as Gellar is walking behind an object. Dexter never saw him. They are very careful about those details.
