Intake manifold question?

Maybe it is just escaping me but why is there no aftermarket company making intake manifolds for 330s!?! Seems to me as the only bottle neck in the system that hasn't been addressed.
-Thanks

It's a veritable geometry intake that would lose torque at certain rpm if a larger high flow intake manifold was fitted.

Cost, lack of need, and lack of demand.

Intake manifold out flows the head.

Hence the lack of need. And per the OP's own conclusion in his 272 cam thread, doing enough work to the head (porting, super aggressive cams, etc) for the intake manifold to become an actual bottleneck gets pretty expensive so there is practically zero demand. Then there's the high cost of engineering and manufacturing a part that would be sold in very low quantities, if it sold at all.

Absolutely agree. Even with all that work, I doubt he'd really max the flow potential of the intake. Work on the head first, that's where most of the gains are.
