New Guy from Las Vegas, NV

Hello everyone!

I just purchased my first BMW so I joined to E46Fanatics to learn more about this car. I bought a 2005 330CI ZHP fully loaded with all options. It's dark Grey with all Black interior. It has the Carbon Fiber trim inside. It's lowered 1" also. I paid $14,800 and it has 96,000 miles on it.

I took it by the dealership for an inspection before the purchase. Overall they said it was in really good shape but it does need a few things. Here is what they recommend.

1. Radiator Flush
2. New belts
3. One strut bracket is broken
4. Rear shock leaking fluid (said to replace all struts)
5. Oil filter bracket leaking (said it was cracked)
6. Oil change
7. fuel filter
8. Brake fluid flush

They quoted me $1700 to do the repairs! I said just do the leaking oil filter bracket for now. They said $900! Ok I will do it myself!

After looking around on here it looks like a gasket is all thats wrong correct? It a 4 hour job? I'm pretty good with cars so I'm gonna tackle all the repairs. Any suggestions to what I need to do or look for would be greatly appreciated.
