New fanatic!

I am Alec, I decided to join this site to be able to discuss improvements I would like to do, to my newly purchased 2000 323i. I am a United States Marine currently stationed in Okinawa, Japan and have been an admirer of bmws since I was young. Please review the couple photos of my car and enlighten me on new ideas for the exterior. Thank you.

nice. my 1st duty station was Camp Hansen on Oki. good times, not too many euros on the island, you be balling right now devil.

oh, and i had those same taillights and youre gonna hear lose them, every day on here till you do.

To snikwad: I'm stationed in Schwab, and hahah, whats wrong with the taillights? Anyway, I hear that after 3 years on Oki, your allowed to take your POV back with you to the states. Maybe you might know some truth to that? And last but not least, where could I find a decent body-kit!?

For bodykits, check with our forum sponsors. Eurospec comes to mind for great prices/service. Your options would be Mtech II, M3, or CSL front. I believe the Mtech II looks the cleanest and most oem.(even though I have the CSL!) For the rear I would probably go Mtech II as well, its the cleanest and fullest rear, its either that, or an add-on to your stock rear.


So basically, an Mtech II kit from eurospec would be an awesome choice.!

Sounds like a plan! Maybe I'll just get the stocks painted black since they're already 18s. And I have no idea how it would look like with the vinyl wrap, do you have it done on your own bimmer, if so, post some pics. Thank you for your time.

and those M3 wheels look good for now. After the kit installation, some springs and spacers on the wheels would set the car off! then its a bunch of little things..

Great advice my friend! I'm usually quite busy so I barely have any time for myself, let alone my new baby.
Also I've been thinking about giving my bimmer a facelift by copying the front of the 2002 330i/with the different style headlights....what do you think?

In order to get the post facelift front you want (2002-2005), you'd need both the headlights and fenders, and then most likely the hood. The best way/time to actually do this is when/if you get in a small front wreck, insurance can get you all the facelift parts..... FREE! It would cost alot of money otherwise, money you might as well spend on the kit/springs, etc...

Small story...... I got rear ended 4 years ago in my bimmer, ended up getting a CSL front, CSL trunk, and Hamann rear add-on from insurance, all cheaper than the stock rear parts would have been.

I've been trying to find the right lowering springs for my 323i but can't seem to figure out if I have the sport package on mine or not.
