Removing trigger wire from AC compressor

Hi all, I'm removing my ac compressor from my 2001 325i as its on the brink.
And I'm stuck removing the trigger wire from the compressor.
I'm calling it the trigger wire as thats what is was called in the DIY here.

I'm turning it left / anticlockwise in a very small cramped work space. After 30 minutes I feel like I'm not getting anywhere!

Any ideas?

The connector just pulls out. Nothing special to it
