What are those? Where are they supposed to be mounted?

these can be mounted where OSS has mounted them in the mtech2 front bumper.

That would be part#2 in the picture. Part#1 is for a standard bumper, according to the notes.

So, these essentially are just white LED bars like those found on late model Audis and MBs? If so, wouldn't you think it would look rather tacky on a BMW?

Why don't you just get some LED angel eyes and use those as DRLs?

I have already done it to the 325i. Was just curious about this "retrofit item". A bit unusual to see that as coming from BMW.

I'm pretty surprised BMW made that a retrofit kit. It doesn't look very good. Audi pretty much has stolen the LED DRL market, and they do a great job of it. It's like their version of angel eyes.

That was my thought, too. An "Audi-like" LED bar would look just as ridiculous on a Bimmer as Angel eyes on an Audi.

It's not that bad... Bit tiny, but they look OK. But i'll go for the AE's as soon as i can get my hands on them. For now i will use these.
