For sure. the more I drive it the more I like it. At first the bit of rasp from 3k-4k RPM's was bothering me, now I think I kind of like it. It really roars at WOT, the sound is awesome

Mine sounded great the first time, I really hope you get this fixed.

Good luck.
All good now, reinstalled my support bracket (old one broke while I was trying to remove it), used washers for cross brace (no more rattle while going over bumps) and re-tightened the clamps (weird howling noise gone)..now it sounds 110% better.

I used M8 1.25 pitch/30mm hex bolts with matching washers.

Good to hear gdaddy! I hear those clamps can be a pain in the ass. I struggled with mine a bit too.

Good to hear. I've really torqued down on those clamps...still howls.

Look at gdaddy's post, I had the same issue it's because the pipes are a larger diameter and the rubber support on the bracket isn't thick enough avoid the rattling. Just install some bushings and you're fine.

ok then, there's two of you. I think its a rare issue. It does have a warranty on it so I don't know why you didn't just take care of that.

Magnaflow with AA headers...

I've replaced the front and rear section under warranty. My mid section has an O2 bung for my AFR gauge sensor welded into it. Maybe the x-pipe or the bung is causing the screeching. I had some shop in South Korea do it...let's say its not a very pretty weld.

It's not as easy as you would think.. I hate to borrow a exhaust for at least a month

I went through Hot Exhaust who was the original distributor of this exhaust. They sent me a new exhaust, charged my CC, I replaced the 2 sections, sent everything back and then I got a refund. The risk is there's a chance that magnaflow may not warranty it...although Hot Exhaust said you should be good to go unless you've modified it.

But yeah, it was still a PIA.

Sometimes I like it but it gets anooying at other times. Its good for waking up the neighbors. I also like passing women talking on their cell phones with the windows down...it will usually give them a nice surprise.

My car is usually one of the loudest at the track...except for the straight pipe porsches and the occasional stock car. So I'm screwed at a track with any kind of noise restrictions.

Here's a video where I stay out of the "screeching" range of the RPM band...you can hear me coming in the very beginning.

Too bad we weren't closer, I'd let you borrow my stock ZHP exhaust.
