you probably have to unscrew it from the inside, by first removing the rear portion of the headliner. Looks like a PITA job.

You can't do it. They are not a direct swap.

Isn't it the antenna for the BMW cell phone? Why would you want that if you don't already have it?

The antenna on the roof is for the Cell phone.
The antenna for the radio are the vertical lines in the rear window.
The antenna for Sat-Nav is just below the rear parcel shelf.

They change in the antenna from Bee-Sting to Shark Fin, was purely cosmetic.

The Shark fin is on a different mount and is also further back than the bee sting.
If you really want the shark fin look, buy a shark fin copy antenna off e-bay then and stick it over your Bee Sting.

Hope that helps

Adam

Do you think that I should know my car by now "man?"

Unless I was blind, my car does not have one.

I am not going to "screw" you. I have given a lot of free stuff to members on this board and bought stuff from people.

Anyhow, honestly, I don;t know the price. Tell me a price. $20???

If someone can show me how to remove the bee sting antenna I can give it out for free. I also want to replace it w/ a shark fin antenna (non-functional)

I'm thinking about removing mine as well. I heard when removing it there will be a hole. I haven't messed with it yet or looked at it enough closely. This topic has come up before, so search around. You can buy the dummy sharkfin on e-bay and stick it on the 3M tape it comes with.
