hey i just wanted to know if you've every had a problem with your SMG im looking to buy an M3 soon but i havent fully decided to which to pick 6spd or SMG i was reading http://forum.e46fanatics.com/showthread.php?t=855810 and just wanted to know if this ever happened to you thanks

i have never (knock on wood) had a problem with my smg, boosted and not, it has always worked just fine crisp and smooth. Its like they say, just because someone had an issue dosent mean everybody will have the same issues

The problem with sales like this is that the buyer would need to put down about 17k to qualify for financing since the bank only sees the book value and only 80% of that is financeable. If financing was easy for this car, I'm pretty sure it would be gone by now. Good luck with the sale bud. If the bank would finance 20k of it I would be down there. What are you looking to get into? Perhaps trades would help you move it quicker...

One question, how do these do as a daily? In terms of bugs and running wo a glitch?

the beauty of the stg 2 is that its only running 4-6lbs of boost on pump mode. When you want to really feel the power, you press the M mode "Methanol" button and have access to an additional 100 hp boost jumps to about 10lbs. when your adrenaline high has peaked, you can turn off methanol and get back to the daily grime of things. Not to mention the Race gas and Race + Meth modes!!!
So to answer your question, if you plan to drive it on a daily basis, i would assume you are going to drive it on pump mode which is a conservative mode/tune, there would be as many glitches as a stock daily driven M3.
