My Ride: 2004 330ci
Aux in DIY (need help)

So I'm in the process of installing a aux in for my 2004 330ci. I've been following the instructions on http://www.my330i.com/mod26.php, now I've run into wall and am stuck. I'm trying to install it where the DSC/Seat warmers are. In order to get there I need to remove a few pieces of the center console. I am stuck on step 11 where I have to remove the shifter boot. The guide shows how for a manual tranmission, but mine is an automatic. So I'm looking for some help on how to go about this for an automatic.

Thanks ahead of time

Edit: Nevermind guys, I figured it out. The boot does come out, just not by itself. Instead of installing it where the DSC buttons are, I decided to go the easy route and install it in the little storage compartment under the A/C unit.
