My Ride: 04 Tiag M3
04 Tiag SMG Coupe (NJ - Rebuilt Title)

I am considering selling my 04 Tiag coupe M3 SMG with just under 60,000 miles because I just recently got a job in NYC and don't need the car and would like to free up some extra cash.

Car:

04 Tiag M3 coupe SMG
59,XXX miles
Front Rotora BBK
sunroof
HK Sound package
dove leather interior
brushed aluminum trim
19" OEM wheels

What I have done:
Powerflex RTABS and FCABS
Front Rotora BBK (4 piston I believe) bought from member: Mainstay- he still has the rears I believe for sales
Replaced alternator ~ 1 month ago
3 Oil Changes since purchase at 50,000 miles, all BMW castrol motor oil
tinted front windows 20%
Khoalty black kidneys and side gill inserts
new battery
replaced steering angle sensor

I put approximately $2,000 on a new Steering angle sensor, front control arm, brake sensors and alignments to get this car fully up on its maintenance.

The alternator went at 57000 miles which seems common on these cars and I replaced the battery as well.

I am asking $16,000 but am open to offers and encourage you to come and see how clean the car is if you are interested or I can meet you at a reasonable location.

The pictures attached are with wheels that are not on the car and do not come with the car. The car has the stock 19" OEM BMW wheels with continental tires up front and pirelli p zeros in the back.

Please send me a PM if interested and I will respond as soon as possible.

Thanks
Joe

The car is also listed on M3 forums under Jferrante

$17,500 with a rebuilt title? Sorry, I think that's a tad much. GLWS regardless.

That would be a definite consideration if I needed a car, I am moving to the city and don't need a car

Two Questions:
1. Why the rebuilt title? Any further information on this?
2. Any interior pictures?

Car was hit in the right rear and was deemed totaled. Once a car is deemed totaled and fixed, the next title it receives is a rebuilt title. I have the carfax with detailed history on the car if interested. I also have some pictures of the interior I can send you, they are cell phone pictures but they do the job.

Does NJ require a state inspector to look at the car before it's issued the rebuilt/salvaged title?

Please send the pictures to coreymhenderson@gmail.com Thanks.

This car is registered in West Virginia because I own a house there and my cars are registered there. When I registered the car there I needed to fill out a form and registration was fairly simple. For NJ I am not sure but I think the inspection is only when the car goes from Salvage to Rebuilt. The transfers from titles after that point should be fairly seamless.

Regardless please check with the state you will be registering it in and get more details.

I'm gonna be checking with my insurance agent tomorrow to see what they say about insuring it and gonna check with the DMV about it also.
Thanks.

Sounds good, I did the same thing when I was registering the car originally. Insurance was actually the same regardless of the title but that might be state to state as well.
