You're going to be terrible at first but don't get too discouraged. Just keep coming back here with video and questions. There is a lot to learn.

I'm one of the most uncoordinated humans alive I think. Considering the technicality, there will be lots of swearing and discouraging thoughts... that's why I'm glad to be learning it with someone. I get enraged when I can't do something, its ridiculous.

At least you guys can have a laugh at the early vids

I think this is new territory for many of us. I'm going to feel like a PANZY performing the Overhead Squat with just a 45 lb. bar.

I didn't have anybody to tape me, and the olympic gym is set up in such a way that I couldn't find a place to set my phone to achieve a good angle. Tonight I will perform a few PC reps with 135 lbs. and tape it and post it. I'll have a buddy with me tonight.
In my videos I would just lean my phone against a weight on the ground. Friday ill be doing legs again and may film my 180 squats.

Agreed. It's easy-ish at the top. Getting to or below parallel is very difficult though, since you have to let your arms (and the weight) come back to stay over the center of gravity.

robbing with a sword is a good thing

I think the worst part of this cut will be watching you make constant gains while I stay the same / slightly increase at best

I used to reference ExRx quite a bit in my earlier lifting days. It's a good place to get insight on some of the Olympic lifts and the variations.

great workout today.

3 squat cleans at 175 every minute on the minute. 15 minutes

then did a 4 round circuit
- 10 strict wide grip pull ups
- 7 close grip (hands on the edge of a 45LB rubber weight) decline pushups with feet in the TRX (brutal!)
- 200 meter (approx) steep uphill run
- 20 sledge hammers on the tire

really tough one today. really fun though!
