Just did one of the most brutal workouts I've done in a while for my birthday

4 rounds of
12 205lb squats
7 70lb left arm kb snatch
7 70lb right arm kb snatch
20 walking lunges holding 53lb kb

17:21. Walking is difficult right now.

Interesting how our bodies work. I wouldn't expect this workout to be hard for you from watching your clean/press videos

Yeah I know. On paper it doesnt look that hard. In reality though it is really brutal for some reason. It looks like it should be about a 12 minute workout tops, but other people I know have done it and all been right in the 16 - 20 minute time frame as well. Give it a shot

Nice! One DB or 2 on the lunges? I like idea of the FS on this as opposed to back squats. Do you ever back squat?

Try front box squatting.....I love it - only problem is once you start doing high reps, you will increase risk of blacking out from lack of air so I try and keep it less than 6 unless I'm doing light weight.

Why would you be at risk of choking out when doing front squats?

robbing with a sword is a good thing
