I need to get my fire back. Been slacking hugely lately. Numbers aren't bad but I feel like a sack of crap. Just did 30 min cardio bc I had to go up to the next hole on my belt. That's the worst.

Current measurements:
Chest around nipples: 46"
Arms flexed w/o a pump: 17"
Waist: 31.5"

A sword is more frightening than toy-looking gun like glock.

robbing with a sword is a good thing

Same here, I was just lamenting to my wife last night about how lazy I get when I've been out of the gym for a few weeks

I've been dealing with a rotator cuff injury since late August, I initially took about 6weeks off, but it didn't go away so I sought treatment and it started to get better (cortisone shot+massage therapy).

In the mean time, I returned to the gym and focused on just lower body and cardio, but last week I re-injured my lower back, so now I can't even do ANYTHING.

I have resorted to walking/hiking ~3miles everyday just to keep burning the calories...feelslikeanoldwoman.jpg

It's part of life lol! You learn to live with it. I sometimes actually like the feeling of fighting through an injury.

You're 20, right? Get closer to 30 and let us know if you still feel that way.

Forget closer to 30. Get past 30 and then see if you agree. I have meniscus surgery scheduled for the 17. Vicodin, couch, and endless sleep here I come!

Damn lol. I have had that back issue that's pretty much gone and my knees were being bitchy but I'm pretty good now. I had some pain when Benching but I changed my form and it went away.

I'm actually paying now for all the damage I did to my back in my 20s (thought I was invincible back then too)

How long will you be out for? Have you had any doctors tell you what you're doing is bad for your body? I feel like a lot of people that everyone thinks is knowledgeable really doesn't know much about this sort of thing.

Jogging in 3-4, light weights in 5-6, no restrictions at 8 weeks.

Most of my doctors are pretty cool with everything I do and support most of it. I hurt my knee playing bball 10 years ago and finally decided to get it cleaned up. They've all told me it would have gotten to be unbearable years ago if it weren't for all the work I do.

Yeah, I like it alright, but I workout in my garage and therefore have no pool. Thanks for the suggestion though. I may set up my bike on a indoor trainer though if I can do that sooner than jogging for rowing. I intend to take this opportunity to do a sick amount of pullup, pushup, and curl work though.
