After looking at your video, I think that I need to explode more when I perform my cleans. Working out in a corporate gym without rubber weights causes a bit of apprehension. I really want to work on my snatch too. Damn!

I need to perfect the whole "ground stomp" part of the movement. I did cleans yesterday after my front squat sets, and all that I kept thinking in my head were your words....

..."You need to pull harder bro!"

Watched your vids... good stuff! Having never performed any version of a clean (its in the goals just not right now) watching your hang clean form and sollys makes me respect the exercise tremendously... I would never consider going heavy I was completely confident with my form

Yep....gotta start light. I've worked myself up to 175 lbs. on the hang clean over the past two months. I'm trying to hit 200 by the end of the year.

Thanks dude! As far as the ground stomp not a lot of people do it. Some don't agree with it either. But that helps me pull more weight. Just gotta be comfortable with your body I guess. I just got so use to it ill try to make a video in the next couple weeks without the jump

It's a really explosive movement. Probably the most explosive exercise IMO. Everything from your feet to accelerating your elbows under to catch the bar.

That's why I love it so much.

P.S. I just added Zion 1 to my playlist because of that vid. LOL! I'll be cleaning to it next week.
