I would stay way clear of that car. It's been heavily tracked (99.9% sure seeing as he's mounted the fixed toe-rings) and modified.

Wide-body kits are usually ... well, accompanied by 60mm spacers which, in turn, stress the car's suspension quite a bit. The intake is sucking in 129084390128390 degree hot air and, well, it seems like he ran into a budget restraint ... if you read the description, he has coilovers in the front (good) and doesn't say anything about the back except for the fact that he has "lowered bilstein suspension". If I'm understading this correctly, he's managed to buy two coilovers for the front, and hasn't matched the back end up. I'll be a wild car to drive, that's for sure.

Depending on what he has in the back, it'll either break the world record for nose-sliding (understeer) or for ass-hanging (oversteer)...

Don't recommend it. Buy stock, then modify.

Thank you so much for your help, you gave me a better outlook on it. so what if i were to buy 2 coilovers to match the ones in the front? wuld you still recommend to stay away?

It isn't too good to be true, that car is just not what you think it is. It's halfway to being ruined.

I for one doubt that car has ever been tracked, the owner just likes to hardpark. The whole look is terrible. I very much doubt those are authentic BBS wheels, more like ASA wheels which are made by a subsidy of BBS.

Nothing wrong with cars that have seen the track. If anything, their maintenance is better (assuming the owner doesn't want to die).

But, M POWAAAAHHHHH son. I'd pass.

id do a carfax, and bring it to a trusted vendor and have them inspect it.

Besides all that, the car looks amazing.

Highly doubt that car has been tracked... not with that system in the boom-boom back.

But I mean he deserves some respect, look at the fit and finish on the false floor; a quality install!

Actually rather than carfax , you should use www.vehiclehistory.gov It is run in coordination with the US Justice Department and cost is only $2-7.00. Also, they are much more reliable than carfax, which can miss things.

I also highly doubt this car has been tracked. It looks more like a car that someone made into what they think looks like a race car (in this case: FAIL). I am 99.9% certain those are not genuine BBS wheels.

I love how people say an open air filter under the hood sucks in high temp air. I've had three different friends instrument their cars with thermocouples and recorded the data (two different platforms), and in all cases, once the car is moving at a normal speed, the under-hood temps are within a few degrees of ambient. A LOT more air flows through the engine bay than you think (and not through the radiator).

I bet the looks have you love blind eh? I felt the same away about my first car, Loved it, inside and out. Just because the way it looked. So I jumped on it. Worst decision of my life. Had it for not even 2 months and it died. Now I got this 325xi as my second car. Don't let looks fool you! Car could look as awesome as that, And have major issues hidden. Just my two cents, If worth that.
