Stupid me... (Now with NWS)

I thought I'd share what I just found out about my car. So I recently installed a buzzer for the chirp sound while unlocking/locking. And I must of forgot to remove everything from under the hood before closing it. This was almost 2 weeks ago mind you. And tonight I pop the hood for my cousin to see and I find a melted roll of duck tape on the air intake box. I almost dropped. So yeah. Thought I'd share.

I have heard of people doing paintwork and leaving a rag on the engine nicely soaked in thinners.
Kind of ruins a new paintjob when the car turns into a fireball after 10 miles !

I do this with sockets. Granted, they are a bit smaller than a giant roll of duct tape

My friend and I did a timing belt job on his Civic once. After we "finished" the job, we realized we left the old timing belt under the hood. Under the hood as in: we re-used the old timing belt and left the new one on the floor! Oops.
