Hello! 330 beginner questions

Hey there

Am currently in the market for a 330 manual! Never thought i would buy one of these but i took one for a test drive and instantly loved it, just wanted to find out some info on these beasts

what kind of major/minor problems they may have
tips on maintaining the gearbox
Self serviceability

There is a lot of info on this forum. If you are a handy man the e46 is very easy to work on and perform DIY rather than take to dealer.

Cheers for that, i used to own an old toyota that i built up, looking at some DIY stuff, man! everything is right infront of you! I was quite shocked to see how self serviceable they are...

do the e46's have any computer chips or electronic parts that need replacing?
