How to flip the side mirrors on e46 M3

Does anyone know, if there is a button somewhere inside the car to flip the side mirrors.

Give it a good push on the front side of the mirror.

It was an option, not all m3's had the button I believe...could be wrong though.

99% sure US m3s never came with the option. But if yours does have it it would be a button on the mirror adjustment switch.

That is such a bummer. I just checked mine, and I have to manually flip them.

use the button people. US spec M3's did not come with power folding mirrors. You can buy a set of the European version mirrors and the euro switch and VOILA, your mirrors will fold at the touch of a button, your car is already pre-wired. I had a set of powerfold replica mirrors years ago and they worked like a charm. There are DIY's on powerfold motor transplants on here if you search. Some people have purchased replica M3 mirrors (which are closer to M5 mirrors) and transplanted the powerfold motor into their OEM M3 mirrors. Then you would just need to buy the switch which is like $40 if I remember correctly. Just be warned, the transplant is NOT an easy DIY.
