I have been away from the forum for a while. This research is really impressive. Anybody stumbling on the "Its fixed gears so it cant differentiate speed" logic should really study the operation of planetary gears. Really... They do differentiate. When there is differentiation, there is movement within the set. When there is no differentiation, it spins all together like a solid hunk of steel would. I had to draw it myself to get it.

I'm sorry if someone already made this point. I'm going back to reread this thread.
