Thanks for responding.

Car started losing power while driving, then eventually died

Managed to get it restarted once, went like 2 feet and died again.

Has not started since.

Intially thought it was the battery, had AAA try to jump start, no luck,
Driver said it was the fuel pump, he has a 325ci 2000, had to change his pump.

I came on here, read a few threads, and tried the fuel relay horn switch, no luck.

I was running the car on empty for a few days before this happened,
And i did test, how many miles you can go, after the empty light comes on,
Managed to get 38.9 miles before engine died, and i had to call AAA.

So i defintely did put the pump through stress

What other problems

Without knowing any more than you do, it could just as easily be your fuel filter. All it takes is one bad tank of gas.
Probably best to do both if you're not going to diagnose things.
