I recognize your screen name from the autoxforum. When did you get a BMW? Coupe or Sedan? Do you still have the black 240?

I haven't raced in over 2 years but I'm trying to get back. Something alwsys comes up with kids and work.

I don't know if you remember me but I was a tall guy with a stripped out black 93 Integra.

Bimmer is the daily, just took her out this past weekend for an event. I still have the 240, she's down for some clutch work, but I'll hopefully have her ready for the April event. I do remember when you came out to a few events. Click image for larger version

Hopefully I make it out to the next event.

What happened to the school they originally had scheduled for February?

They killed it, I haven't been involved in running events lately so the new Guys think it's cool to not have a school.... Too cool for school I guess. I pitched it, but looks like it won't happen till later in the year

My Ride: is for chicks
I used to ride bikes, I sold mine for my zhp.
I'm off tomorrow, If you want to do a drive then maybe go to the River Road Go Karts in hammond!
Ill be at that track tomorrow.

Question for you locals.

My zhp is lowered with stiffer shocks and springs over OEM.
Ive been on i55 south to nola from the north shore only once and I felt like the suspension was being murdered by the bridge.
I refuse to go across that lumpy bridge now, how the hell am I supposed to get to NOLA in my car. I haven't been on the causeway in quite some time, does anyone know if it is smoother than i55 south? Because if so I could take i12 to causeway to the south shore.
Any suggestions?

Cool, I think I'll be doing a little wash then drive tomorrow. From Springfield, taking 22 towards mapas, down by the river than back to 16 in denham springs then back to Springfield.
After that Ill be at the go kart track.

http://rrgokart.com/ -- for information.

The video is off an I phone so it only does so much justification. Here is a few laps I did a few weeks ago.
Few laps in, Im the red helmet that's in 2nd

I was definitely looking forward to a school since it will be my 1st autox with a RWD car. I'm sure it will be rescheduled to a day I'm on duty.

I can't say that I have any memory of what I55 is like but the south bound Causeway isn't the best either. Ive gotten beaten up pretty decent in some lowered vehicles on the bridge. It's not the whole bridge but from what i can remember the first 1/4 is kinda bouncy so take it easy.

I'm on those all the time and well, I guess I just deal. Southbound causeway is the bitch of the two.
