I started out loving the BMW for show. I had never driven one, but after I test drove one, I fell in love. The rest in history.

Neither...

Definately not for performance....it lacks there.
Not that it's a total dog, but my 3/4 ton, 8,000 lb. diesel runs a faster 1/4 mile than the car.
Looks, they look good, not the hottest looking IMO, but a nice looking car. Bought mine cuz it was there at the right time. I'll be replacing it very soon with an H2.

I got my Bimmer because its one of the best looking cars around, and more so the performance.

it may just be a stock 323i but it beats my brothers moded civic!

Don't forget that performance isn't all about power only.
This car turns VERY well.
It's very tight in the corners, esp. if you get some sways and a drop.

Why???? Because I'm just a pimp like that.

Honestly it was more performance and fun of driving the drew me to it. I had an 8-series before the M and always thought the e46 looked a little feminine. That all changed when I bolted on my ACS lip.

IDK where you hear that, but my parents change cars like every 1 or 2 years. Most of my other Asian friends don't even have cars like that.
