What is your short term estimate for the Dow Jones index?

With the global economic crisis getting worse, how low do you think the Dow will go before it bottoms?

Hopefully not much further down- 9k- it's anyone's guess though.
I think if we drop below that it might fall off a cliff. I feel bad for the people liquidating to be honest with you- but who knows what is going to happen- it's scary.

It goes up 300 one day and down 380 the next.

If anyone guessed correctly, then it would just be a lucky guess.

There are so many variables and many of them are manipulated.

One thing is for certain is that there will continue to be wild swings like we had this week.

The way I see it now would be the time to buy and hold it for awhile.
I have a Feeling by Nov-Dec Stocks will go through the roof.

SO many good bargain buys out there right now. If you have the liquidity, and the time frame, scoop up all you can.

This "economic crisis" is almost peace of mind for me. The crash in 2009 woke up a lot of people/governments. While the markets/governments are being overly sensitive to financial indicators, they are at the very least being fiscally responsible. Pullbacks like the one as of late are just going to prevent us from getting fvcked big time down the road. This past September 2010 to February 2011 the markets were growing way too fast for their own good anyways.

"In any system with finite resources and infinite expansion of population—like your business, or like all of humanity—innovation is essential for not only success but also survival. The innovators are our leaders. You cannot separate the two. Whether it is by thought, technology or organization, innovation is our only hope to solve our challenges."
