My computer is making weird noises, computer experts help

About an hour ago my laptop started making this weird hissing noise. Its not coming out of the speakers, but from either behind the screen or under the keyboard. I turned it off and the sound went away, but after an hour turned it on again and it came right back. Here's a video I took from my phone, anyone have any idea what this is?

Sorry I tried to do everything from my phone. No, its like a hissing sound. I just turned it back on again and it seems to be working fine, other than the sound wont stop. Here's the video again:

You can only hear the sound in the video when the camera is right next to the computer

I can't really tell, can you make another video?
Could it it be the fan making that noise? Maybe too much dust?

take a very large high powered magnet and run it along the screen and the base of the notebook where the video card and harddrive would be

i wouldn't use it, it could spontaneously combust causing permanent eye damage to your cornea

The sound died down a little, can't really make out the noise in the new video I made... But its still there.

And ya, I'm scared of it spontaneously combusting

if no freeze then hard drive must be OK, make another video and don't be afraid of spontaneous combustion, this never happens on a Macbook

sounds like the previous video and like I said, maybe too much dust on the fan, are you handy with a screwdriver? can you open your laptop? or can you spray some of the compressed air in a can to blow off the dust?

capacitor about to go

when it does, your laptop will stop working, but its not going to explode or anything.

this is a macbook he has, capacitors are solid state meaning they will almost last forever and capacitors make a high pitch sound due to the change in frequency of the circuit being altered...

UPDATE: The noise continues to get quieter and quieter... I can only hear it now when i put my ear right next to it and its a little rattling sound. I'm hoping Elliot-BMW is right and it's just a dust issue. Unfortunately I don't own any screwdrivers small enough to open up my laptop. I'll keep it on for now and continue using tonight, and hopefully tomorrow morning will be able to open it up and check it out.

Thanks guys, I really appreciate all the help!

If its less than a year old then go to the apple store and get another one.

Having an apple computer is less like an ownership and more like a rental cable box.
