Congratulations...Beautiful healthy girl! We had our first at the end of 2012 - also a girl. They tend to soak up mod money, but bring a whole new excitement to life!

My friend Charlie had an AFE Stage 1 filter laying around his garage. He recently got the Gruppe M intake so he let me borrow his AFE intake indefinitely! LOL! At least until I make the move for FI. We installed it today and I tried comparing it to the old K&N intake that I had and this kit has a better heat shield design. It made the engine bay look a lot cleaner vs the K&N being exposed with that open space. I know that these air filter kits don't do much and I'm better off with the OEM plus upgraded elbow and drop in filter but as of now, this would be sufficient. Thanks again Charlie!

Making Charlie work hard!

Charlie tryin to be gangsta!! LOL!

The scene in my garage today!

Done with the install...

Small update:

I have been wanting to drop the front of my car about .25 inches just to even it out with my rears. I only got around doing that last night. I saw that James (floss) was selling a set of brand new BC coilover springs 12k 120mm so I jumped on it. I had 12k 180mm up front originally and with the BCBR coilovers that I have, it was already maxed out. Only way to drop it more was to get shorter springs. It worked out since the shorter springs were 12k as well. I will take better photos of the whole car soon.

BC springs 12k 120mm

180mm 12k vs 120mm 12k

All done..

Finally got around installing my square rears OEM 18 set dipped in red.
265/35 all around. No spacers up front and 12mm spacers rear.
One phone photo. I will have better photos tomorrow since I will be taking the
car for another alignment job. Stay tuned!

Did safety inspection today since I moved to RI. Passed with flying colors! (Thanks to EVOLVE-R Tune! Since I adjusted my ride height recently, I thought that it would be wise to have a wheel alignment as well! I slapped my square set of OEM 18s rears which were plasti dipped just to make the alignment easier vs my (improper set up as some would call it) work Meisters.

I was surprised on how low the alignment bay was compared to some shops that have ramps and restrict my car from getting on it.

And up we go...

One Close up shot of my dipped OEM 18s and new ride height.

Alignment time!

All done!

You should read more pages... Page 5 was my first set of work Meisters and I bought a set again this July since I missed them after selling it. I slap my OEM square set whenever I take the car for maintenance and service to avoid getting the work Meisters damaged or scratched.

I finally got around to adjusting my ride height for whenever I have the Meisters installed. I was going to sell them but I changed my mind and decided to keep them because of some ridiculous offers that I got. I was also able to sell my OEM 18 Square set up today. I plan to get another set of 18s but I am still thinking about which one to get. Currently, I am leaning towards Volks since I've never had the chance to own one yet. For the forum members that I talk to regularly, you guys know which Volks I'm talking about.

On to the photos: ( proper shoot will be done, iPhone photos for now)

Did a little bit of spray waxing today as well:
