yeah i think it's eas that installs for free if you buy the kit.. i'm in socal as well. The afe kit comes with air scoops for under $200. And the macht schnell sells for around $160, if you want to add scoops (approx. $100 rpi/afe) it would make the kit over $260. Install can't possibly be that hard.. think i've made up my mind on the afe.. i'll keep you guys posted

alright i just picked up some tires for the new wheels.. getting them mounted tomorrow.. will post pics! The tires were such a good deal i could pass them up.. the rears are 275/30/19 falken fk452 (only cost me $250 for both new).. and a set of michelin pilot sports 245/35/19 for the front.. got them used with 95% tread life for only $200 for the pair.

Great looking car. I vote down with the cf lip and back to stock or get a csl bootlid. On performance get some headers but as far as I know there are no legal C.A.R.B aproved headers so you would have to switch them back when its time for smog. I could be wrong though.

thx.. yeah i want to get headers and a tune.. i'm thinking about the status gruppe or m3an one headers.. there are guys running 400 cell cats with headers and passing smog in ca. not sure if running 400 cell cats would dramatically lower the gains from the headers therefore not making it worth it.

I'm running Ss cats and Resinator and i can tell you they fail in spectacular fashion lol. I just swap them out when it's time to smog. Bit of a pain but well worth the gains. What ever you do I'm sure you'll be happy

I've seen people run catless section 1's and have a set of 400 cell catted section 1 that they put on just when they need to pass smog. That's prob what I'll do.. I'm really happy with the way the car is turning out so far.

just some 12mm spacers on the rears and it fits perfect.. i was worried about rubbing issues, but there are none.. super smooth and even drove hard down some bumpy roads to test it out.. pics up soon!
