Opinions please

Hi all.

First of all although I have been trawling this site for quite some time, I am new to posting, so apologies if I have posted at all incorrectly.

Around 8-9 months ago I decided I wanted a change from my Black VW Gold Mk4 1.8T, I wanted something with a little more luxury, so...I bought my Silver, 2001 330CI with 90,000 on the clock, manual trans, I was looking for lower mileage but because this had loads of extra I wanted I went for it.

It was sitting in the drive outside the previous owners house, tire flat and unused, very unloved.

When I went for the test drive, I thought this is it!

When I got it it had Harmon Kardon system, Xenons, front headlight washers, 4:3 sat nav system, all the usual 330 goodies and the very rare rear electronic sun visor, Full leather interior. Very straight and no issues, lots of paper work with it all done by BMW. An added bonus is that the previous owner had fitted genuine M3 rear LED lights.

Whilst I liked the original wheels they were pretty kerb'd so I had think on those, I love BBS CH reps but then I started to think about CSL reps, I put them on the back burner and crack'ed on with what else needed doing.

So far I have:

8000K Angel Eyes fitted
Chrome bulbs all round
New deep pile mats
Dynavin V5 system
Reverse Camera install
Brake restore, gun metal respray with BMW decal
Gliptone leather clean/restore and moisturise
Replaced naff aftermarket handbrake with OEM

All DIY jobs above

So then I went with cash in hand to an alloy wheel wholesaler and made the choice then and there, and I went for 18" Hyperblack CSL reps, and on they went.

What do you think, opinions please and also what else can I do going forward, any ideas? I like subtle OEM upgrades...

1st thing I intend to do is install a OEM style gear knob that lights up with the dash lighting.

I have included some images from when I first got her and then a few of what has been done and then on with the new alloys.

Thanx

Honestly, with the clears, the wheels and the silver paint, it just looks a little too plain. No color. No contrast. Maybe a tint would give it a little more contrast? I think it looks good, but it doesn't pop.

I know a nice guy in the Isle of Dogs. Look him up, his name is GoingNuts or something like that. He has a similar car to you and is very helpful should you need any help working on your car. He even has MDF V2 ramps! Car looks good!

What does cf mean? I was thinking of Vinyl wrapping the roof in black (not matte)

Thanx for all the quick feedback guys, very cool.
