Hi. Totally new to BMW, and already beaten !
Engine emissions light keeps coming on, garage clears it, say they don't know, fault suggests a mixture problem, too lean. Can anyone help please ? Thank you |

Dealer or Garage Clearing it ? Perhaps take it to BMW

Hi. The garage is a local bmw specialist and is rated quite highly,though i have to take that on word, No reason to believe differently, and they have not charged me for their efforts trying to sort out why it keeps coming on.
Lasted 4 days this time, car runs fine, but just this damned light that i find really annoying and worrying because we don't know what might be happening all the time it is on.thier net plan is to try changing the mass air sensor and see ifthat sorts it. I shall let the forum know the outcome ! |

have you checked your air intake hoses for tiny cracks?its cheaper than a maf,actualy take them of to check bmw wont
