Somewhere in this thread I think there is a picture of a dead deer with a "get well soon" baloon tied to it, I can't find it. If YOU can, please repost.

Sorry to burst you're bubble man, but that is a stock Lexus IS F. It's exhaust ports are made like that. And as for the license plate, well...

That IS-F is pretty sick. Not rice at all. I like the license plate too. It really is the Japanese M3.

I do love the IS F and it is really good. But it's just not the caliber of an M3.

No.
dropping a v8 into a corolla does not a M3 make.

Fake Exhaust Tips

IIRC plenty of OE cars have "fake" exhaust tips.

ex:

Audi R8 V10 actually has quads behind the dual ovals
Most LS series from Lexus
Lots of recent, newer benz's like the new ML., S-class, etc.

To enhance or stylize the rear of the car to the designers liking, its not realistic to use the actual exhausts. Plenty of exhausts on OE cars these days have the exhaust integrated completely into the rear bumper...Plus having the "fake" tips, you can position anyway you'd like and not worry about heat issues.

I personally don't like fake exhaust tips, but just my 2cents that many OE cars have it, not just the ISF.
