cold air intake for 330ci with xenon

hello,

I just bought a cold air intake kit and I am disappointed: I can not mount because of the bulk xenon lights that prevents the install kit. Apparently many of you have installed on their model, as have you done?

You have to relocate your ballast. I took off my bumper and took my headlight off and took off the ballast. Sounds hard but it really isn't. A friend showed me how to do it

You don't need to take the bumper cover off. Take out the headlight, re-locate the ballast... (right now, mine is zip tied to the cold air intake bracket that I got with my kit)... and to put on the filter go trough the bottom section of fender liner on your driver side wheel well. No need to mess with the bumper.

I needed to take the bumper off since I couldn't reach bolts to the bottom of the headlight

Can this ballast relocation be performed with a Sedan too?

Also what brand of cold air intake did you use?

People who have bi xenon headlights need to relocate their ballast since it gets in the way of the CAI
