I'm a mechanic and I own a small business selling used 1911 parts on gunbroker. I just turn wrenches for cheap insurance because my wife got pregnant and it was the only way to get insurnace. As soon as the baby is born I'll probably retire again.

Looks like I have a line on a MINT transferable m16a1 complete with US property markings AND in the origional shipping box from colt. Depending on what it is when I see it in person I might pick it up also.

The terminator. SWD slamfire, killed off by the ATF after only 18 were made or so the story goes. Somebody found out you could very easily attach a bren mag and turn it in to a FA 12G. 1 is on the NFA list.

Browning auto 5 whippit, early 1920's gun made my FN. Judging by the look of the cut stock its been like this for some time.

Nope, The parts are the junk.

Basically I call around gunsmiths and find boxes of take off parts. For example, I once bought a lot for $800 from a retired smith that was in business back in the 60's, there was over 2500 1911 parts in a old cardboard box that was setting in his basement for decades, he was glad to get that much for it.

This gun smith had a TON of WWI and WWII parts, surplus parts from when he was building bowling pin guns. Some of the parts like early barrels and stuff like checkered main spring housings and slide stops sold for $200-$300 each. The cheapest parts are $1 each for pins and the most expensive part sold for over $500. I calculated it up a couple years ago after I sold the last of that lot, I averaged around $35 a part with a profit of over $86,000 on a $800 investment.

I currently have 5 houses (rental properties) that are paid in full, bought two new ones last year alone, and a 50 acre farm about 70 miles from here. On top of all that me and my wife still live with my parents because my wife helps take care of my grand mother who has alzhimers. No bills, $3650 a month rent coming in, my income from the business and income from the muffler shop.

I went back to work because the wife became pregnant and I needed insurance in case there were complications. The muffler shop is just cheap group rate insurance that she could not be turned down on.

I had actually worked at that shop some time ago and came back for insurance a some time last year, I "retired" when I was 23 and started my home business with $40 to my name. My first big score was a lot of m14 mags for $5 each that I sold for $20 each. I just kept flipping stuff until I had a nice bank roll. Anything I see that I can make double on I buy, If I cant atleast double my money on something (unless its a toy) I dont buy it.

I have a ton more guns that are not pictured, I buy for investment alot so my most pricy stuff never sees the day of light.
