I have that same JoAnn fabric wrapped on my hardtop headliner. I did it last October and I've had the hardtop on about 50% of the time and I can verify that it WILL fade unfortunately

Now Jo Ann fabrics sells 2 different types of black suede. Not sure if you got the same as me but they told me its pretty durable. Its a risk im willing to take for the look of it. I am going to look into some kind of UV blocker type spray and maybe coat before it has a chance to fade.

Did you use any sort of cleat coat/matte coat on the seats after dying them with the Leatherique dye?

Thinking about doing my seats Imola Red but I'm hesitant because of the long term effects. After 1-2 months how is the leatherique? Any rubbing off or fading?

No fading, cracking, peeling at all on front seats, which obviously gets plenty of use. They still look really good. Ive heard a few things about the imola red, like, you cant buy it or they don't recommend it (leatherique)... Something of the sort. I would think the color would be hard to get where you want it tone-wise. I do not know for sure though.
