Carbon fiber looks sweet! but I still don't understand why everyone hates on the wood grain so much? I love the way mine looks.

Thanks for all the great comments... This was my first attempt @ a e39 and I'm real happy with the result. I've just finished assembling my new vacuum bag setup which I hope will make the process even "cleaner" and have even better lines. Can't be used for all the parts and the more complex ones will still need to wrapped by hand, but for many of the pieces, they should wrap quite cleanly with the vacuum process. I have a e90 M5 interior to start this week and I'm hoping to wrap some test pieces tonight and if they come out as expected, then wrap the M5 interior using the vacuum process.....

I'll let you know how it goes..... Fabio, when are we finishing the work on your stuff??

When you buff the pieces, do you wet sand it with 1500 grit before buffing?

Yup. then use a mid-cut polish and then a finishing polish with appropriate pads for each solution..
