Probably would have got it if you went:
135x5
185x4
225x3
275x2
315x1
365x1
And then tried 400. 315 to 415 is a huge jump.

When I got my 515 there were singles at 485, 445, 405, 365 and 315 immediately prior to it.

It was 315-400. Not sure if that makes a difference though.

If you stick 315x5 into a calculator it gives a 1RM of 355, so that's a pretty big jump in weights. Were you trying to lift it raw or with straps?

Just bought these. http://www.roguefitness.com/adidas-p...light-onix.php

$90 shipped. I just couldn't bring myself to spend $200 on the romaleos.

Btw weighted in at 180 yesterday and today. I did a lot of day drinking yesterday and though I'd be really dehydrated today. I've cleaned up my eating this past week. Still shooting for 3300 plus cals but I'm trying not to eat too crappy.

My conditioning is crap right now lol
I didn't time it but it took a little while.
I did
50 hang cleans
50 pull ups
50 70lb kb swings
50 toes to bar

Pretty much broke it down in to 5 rounds of 10 reps for each give or take a few for some movements.

The good news was my power cleans felt good. I focused a lot more of hip thrust and less on the jumping back which I always had a problems with. In the past id never be able to do 165 without hardly leaving my feet.

Power Clean:
95 lb x 7 reps (+41 pts)
135 lb x 5 reps (+49 pts)
165 lb x 3 reps (+48 pts)
165 lb x 3 reps (+48 pts)
165 lb x 3 reps (+48 pts)
165 lb x 3 reps (+48 pts)
165 lb x 3 reps (+48 pts)

Ring Dip:
8 reps || weighted || 20 lb (+89 pts)
8 reps || weighted || 20 lb (+89 pts)
8 reps || weighted || 20 lb (+89 pts)

Hang Clean:
115 lb x 10 reps (+51 pts)
115 lb x 10 reps (+51 pts)
115 lb x 10 reps (+51 pts)
115 lb x 10 reps (+51 pts)
115 lb x 10 reps (+51 pts)

Pull-Up:
10 reps (+82 pts)
10 reps (+82 pts)
10 reps (+82 pts)
10 reps (+82 pts)
10 reps (+82 pts)

Two-Arm Kettlebell Swing:
70 lb x 10 reps (+42 pts)
70 lb x 10 reps (+42 pts)
70 lb x 10 reps (+42 pts)
70 lb x 10 reps (+42 pts)
70 lb x 10 reps (+42 pts)

Toes-To-Bar:
10 reps (+10 pts)
10 reps (+10 pts)
10 reps (+10 pts)
10 reps (+10 pts)
10 reps (+10 pts)

Ill be trying these out tomorrow. I put them on and they feel pretty tight. I had thick socks on. I'm assuming they should feel very snug though.

Front squats tomorrow so they should come in handy. They are the Adidas powerlift trainers. Only $89.99. I'm sure they're no where near as good as the $189 romaleos but at the weight I'm putting up I'm sure it will be good enough.

The difference in Performance vs the Nike ones will be negligible. You'll be perfectly happy with these today and 5 years from now

Ok good to know.

Tomorrow is
Front squats
Bench press
Dips

Then some kind of metcon. No idea what yet. Something involving legs and shoulders/chest. Probably some 25lb wallballs and something else.
