Ones I thought would be interesting/painful:

Handstand Holds for maximum time
25 yard prowler sprints
12 Barbell Walking Lunges @ 35% of 1 RM Squat (6 each side)
100 Pull Ups in the least amount of sets possible.

This workout in its entirety...

Complete for time:

100 Reverse Wall Climbs + Push Ups
100 Ball Slams 40 lbs
100 Evil Wheels

And

Go F*ck Yourself Challenge

Tabata Deadlift

315 lbs

For 20 seconds do as many reps of deadlift as you can. Rest 10 seconds. Repeat this 7 more times for a total of 8 sets. Your score is counted by total number of reps in 8 sets.

Yeah I was looking at a bunch of workouts last night. Some are insane. I would never do a tabata deadlift more than 135 lol

i can feel my shins from that already...

I'll definitely need to join my old gym again for this, which won't be until at least July.

did they have a lot more of the right equipment? The way I see it, with a style of workout like this is you can't not get in really good shape following it. It's very well thought out and fuucking intense, it also has the linear progression worked right in. I have a feeling I'll be working out harder than I ever have in my life in the next few months.

Your comment about self programming and how you leave things out that you don't like really rang true for me... and I really think this will help develop my hockey conditioning.

When I was a member there, they had a deadlifting mat, plus bumper plates and an area to do cleans etc.... they also had rings. Very small gym though, and it got too crowded so I left. But now they bought a space beside them that is twice the size, and apparently have turned it into a crossfit gym... still need to go check it out. Very rare in my city of ~1 million people, its further from my house/work but whatever.

I was getting lazy man. I'd be like ehhh I don't feel like doing that and it just got a little less fun. I was making progress but not a lot. My two main guys, similar in performance with me, stopped working out so I am kind of on my own doing these things with my gf doing her thing and my friend who is a gym newb doing some random stuff. My one guy that used to come is going to start doing this with me. He's getting married in another year or so so he wants to get in good shape. The competition of this makes it so much better. I've always been such a competitive assh0le with sports and this is all I have now lol.

welcome to my world... haven't had a workout partner in over a year. It's the worst, and detrimental to progress in a way I think. I'm very competitive also, and you can only be so competitive with yourself. My gf does her own thing too (zumba, some stupid dumbbell class, and spin) despite me training her on barbell lifts.

Why did they stop working out? the ****

one is my lazy best friend and roommate. Just doesn't care as much. He's the one that's coming back and the other one is a dumbbass and just lazy I guess.

My gf said she'll do some CFFB stuff with me. I would get pretty excited.

Tonight's workout
3x max rep pull ups
10
7
7

50 ab wheel things

Then this
This is a combination lift of four movements that make up one rep:
1. Deadlift from floor to knee height, return bar to floor.
2. Deadlift from floor to hip height, return bar to the knee height.
3. High Pull from knee height to full extension, return bar to the floor.
4. Power Clean
Perform 3 reps per set.
*Work up to the heaviest set of 3 reps possible.

I did 115
135
155
165

Each weight is done 3x and was exhausting as hell. I wouldn't have been able to do more.

Tomorrow is a rest day

That's different! I know people will do that to warm up for power cleans, but haven't heard of that using actual working sets!

Last night was good but couldn't bench heavy because no spot

squat
190x5x5
Bench
135x10x3

10 min amrap
3 135lb Push Press
5 25lb Ball Slams

I got 11 rounds and 2 push presses. I rested a bit between each round because I wanted to make sure I got all 3 presses unbroken.

Today was the cf style comp.

Pr on dead lift 385

The 10 min Amrap of
4 135lb power cleans
8 hand release push ups
12 24" box jumps was just awful
I got 6 rounds and 5 box jumps

Then it was
4 rounds for time
8 155lb deads
9 53lb kb swings
10 20lb med ball cleans.

Owner of the local cf got 3:40. I did 7:15. Dude is just good at this sh1t.

Then it stated pouring an we skipped the run and had a tie breaker between 2nd and 3rd.
My buddy that goes to a cf in CT and a female trainer from the local cf.
21-15-9 shoulder to overhead and burpees. He used 135 and she used 95. She absolutely killed him. 6:40sec. She's gotta weight like 125-130 lbs.
