Nice. I'm stressing over 215 squat today. First world problems lol. When you have to reset what do you go down. Was it 10? I can't remember.

Tomorrow a friend is coming by and we're going to do this workout for the hell of it. Definitely scaling down the weight though.

Starts at the 1:00 mark

I've done that one slightly modified before. I did it with 45lb dumbbell thrusters but only did 75 of them. Time was 12:44.

I need this quote on my wall

“No citizen has a right to be an amateur in the matter of physical training…what a disgrace it is for a man to grow old without ever seeing the beauty and strength of which his body is capable.”

Barbell Squat:
45 lb x 20 reps
115 lb x 6 reps
185 lb x 5 reps
215 lb x 5 reps
215 lb x 5 reps
215 lb x 5 reps
very heavy but watching a Rippetoe video on the hip drive definitely helped. This felt easier than 210.

Standing Barbell Shoulder Press:
45 lb x 15 reps
80 lb x 5 reps
95 lb x 5 reps
102.5 lb x 5 reps
102.5 lb x 5 reps
102.5 lb x 5 reps
Heavy but slowly increasing

Power Clean:
95 lb x 5 reps
115 lb x 5 reps
155 lb x 3 reps
155 lb x 3 reps
155 lb x 3 reps
155 lb x 3 reps
155 lb x 3 reps
heavy as hell. Exhausting exercise.

Dumbbell Bicep Curl:
40 lb x 10 reps
40 lb x 10 reps
40 lb x 10 reps
honestly surprised I'm doing this much given the fact that I have never curled this much and in the two months of the current program have only just started adding curls since last week.

Yea. My friend asked me the same thing when he saw my fitocracy post. I figured it was easy to figure out since it said dumbbells and had the weight lol

So funny man. My friend that did it went first and got 19 reps on the first minute then averaged like 10-12 after than and looked like he was going to cry lol. Im not making excuses about being a little sore from Fridays workout ether. I just couldn't do a lot. I need to work on my muscle endurance.

It's how your body is conditioned....Dwass probably won't be able to do what the guy do because he's conditioned for strength, but crossfit "gods" probably can't do the weight he puts up.

See that's the misconception with these guys. For their weights they are pound for pound some of the strongest guys you'll see. But it's important to remember they don't just go on the crossfit main site and do the wod and that's it. They do a lot more than that.

made up a workout today since I'm skipping Monday because it's my gf's sisters bday dinner. Tuesday I'll do my regular workout again.

Going to do 5 rounds
deadlift 135x10
bench 135x10
5 burpees

I'll only break when I have to.
